Washington, D.C. - Congresswoman Rosa L. DeLauro (Conn.-3) released the following statement today on the failure of the Republican Congress to enact the recommendations of the 9/11 Commission:

“I am profoundly disappointed by the Republicans' failure of leadership. We owe it to the families of those who were killed on September 11, and to all Americans, to implement the intelligence reforms suggested by the 9/11 Commission. After so much bipartisan work on this issue, it is shameful that the House Republicans would refuse to allow the House to vote on this legislation."
