DeLauro and Cramer Make Friendly Wager on NCAA Men’s Hockey Championship Game

WASHINGTON, DC (April 8, 2016) — Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (D-CT) today made a friendly wager with Congressman Kevin Cramer (R-ND) on tomorrow night’s NCAA Men’s Hockey Championship Game between the Quinnipiac University Bobcats and the University of North Dakota Fighting Hawks.

DeLauro wagered beer from No Worries Brewing Company in Hamden, Connecticut, while Cramer wagered chocolate covered potato chips from Widman’s Candy Shop in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

“After a big win on Thursday night, Quinnipiac is going to the NCAA Championship for the second time in just four seasons. We have one of the strongest hockey teams in the country and I am confident that the Bobcats will win tomorrow night’s game, beating the Fighting Hawks,” said Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro. “I look forward to cheering on the Bobcats in the championship game and I am excited to offer some of Connecticut’s finest beer from No Worries Brewing Company as a wager. Go Bobcats!”
