DeLauro Reiterates Call for Release of Mueller Report Following AG Barr’s Letter to Congress
March 24, 2019
WASHINGTON, DC (March 24, 2019) — Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (CT-03) today released the following statement after reviewing Attorney General Barr's letter to Congress on Special Counsel Robert Mueller's report.
"Attorney General Barr's letter to Congress on Special Counsel Mueller's report raises more questions than answers. Despite President Trump and his staff's initial statements, the Mueller report clearly did not exonerate him with regard to the very serious charge of obstructing justice. In fact, it says just the opposite right on page 3 of the short letter we received. That is why the full report, including its underlying documents, must be made public immediately. Congress and the American people deserve to know all of the facts."
