DeLauro Announces SBA Disaster Loan Opportunities
Non-profit organizations affected by snowstorms may qualify for low-interest disaster loans
Washington, DC— Congresswoman Rosa L. DeLauro (CT-3) announced today that the U.S. Small Business Administration has made low interest rate disaster loans available to Non-Profit Organizations (PNPs) in Connecticut as a result of the January 11-12 snowstorms.
PNPs located in Fairfield, Hartford, Litchfield, New Haven, New London and Tolland counties and the Tribal Lands of the Mashantucket Pequot and the Mohegan Tribal Nations located entirely within New London County in Connecticut are eligible to apply to SBA.
"The impact of the January 11-12 snowstorm was devastating for residents and businesses, and I am pleased that the Small Business Association has made these low interest loans available to our local non-profits. These organizations often provide critical community services and deserve our support. For assistance in applying for these loans, please contact my office at (203) 562-3718 or at www.delauro.house.gov."
