Congressional Art Competition

Congresswoman Rosa L. DeLauro invites and encourages all students in grades 9-12 who reside in or attend high school in Connecticut’s Third Congressional District to submit a piece of artwork to the 2025 Congressional Art Competition.

How to Enter the 2025 Congressional Art Competition:

  • Review the 2025 Rules for Students and Teachers
  • All Artwork must have a wire for hanging. Frames are also highly encouraged.
  • Drop off the Art and the Student Release Form by Thursday April 18th to:

Entries will be judged by a panel of local artists and art professors in the Third District.

Rosa will hold a reception to honor this year’s participants and announce the winning entries. The winning entry will receive 2 free plane tickets to attend the Winner Reception in Washington D.C. in June and will have their art displayed for one year at the United States Capitol. 2nd and 3rd Places will be displayed in Rosa’s Washington D.C. and New Haven offices, respectively.
