July 20, 2022

Legislation includes funding secured by DeLauro for several local projects in Connecticut

Chair of the House Appropriations Committee Rosa DeLauro (CT-03) today led House passage of H.R. 8294, a minibus of six fiscal year (FY) 2023 appropriations bills.

"Over the last year, Congress began to restore our investments in working families, the middle class, and vulnerable people," said Chair DeLauro. "With the priorities included in this year's spending bills, House Democrats are showing that we stand with hardworking Americans, not the biggest corporations and special interests. The package of six 2023 Appropriations bills passed by the House today provides funding for critical needs. It helps lower the cost of living, creates American jobs, and gives working families a better shot by supporting small businesses and vital rental and nutrition assistance programs."
