DeLauro Statement on Arizona Tragedy

Washington, DC— Congresswoman Rosa L. DeLauro (CT-3) issued the following statement today in response to reports Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and others were shot in Arizona today.

"I am devastated by this senseless attack on my friend and colleague, Gabby Giffords. Congresswoman Giffords is an extraordinary representative for her constituents, and my thoughts and prayers go out to the families and loved ones of those affected by this horrible tragedy."
