DeLauro Statement on Biden Border Security Proclamation

Today, Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (CT-03) released a statement on a proclamation issued by President Biden to strengthen border security and limit unlawful border crossings:

“House and Senate Republicans have rejected every serious legislative effort to address and end the crisis at the border. I applaud President Biden for his leadership and for taking action to address the problems we are seeing at the border.  It is critical that we strengthen border security and limit unlawful border crossings. President Biden and Democrats are working to secure our border while expanding safe, lawful pathways for migration.”
