DeLauro Statement on Metro-North Employee Fatality

WASHINGTON, DC—Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (CT-3) releasedthe following statement today on the passing of Metro-North employee RobertLuden.

"My deepest condolences go out to Mr. Luden's family. I havebeen in touch with the Federal Railroad Administration and understand they areon the scene to find out exactly what happened. Regardless of the cause, no oneshould lose their life on a job trying to support their family. My thoughts andprayers are with Mr. Luden's friends and family in this difficult time.
