DeLauro Statement on Newtown School Shooting

WASHINGTON,DC—Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (CT-3) issued the following statement today onthe tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut:

"Thisis a terrible, senseless, incomprehensible tragedy and my thoughts and prayersare with everyone in Newtown and Sandy Hook Elementary School.

"Ihave been in touch with the Governor's office and other officials and will doeverything in my power to be there for the affected families."
