DeLauro Statement on the Passing of Representative C.W. Bill Young

NEW HAVEN, CT—Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (D-CT), senior Democrat on the Labor, Health and Human Services and Education Appropriations Subcommittee issued the following statement on the passing of Rep. C.W. Bill Young (R-FL):

"I was saddened to learn of the death of Representative Bill Young. He was a true gentleman and incredibly thoughtful in everything he did. He will be greatly missed for his willingness to work across the aisle and his advocacy for veterans. A veteran himself, he was a great champion for our men and women in uniform. My thoughts are with his family, especially his wife Beverly and their three sons, during this difficult time.
