DeLauro: 100 Days Later, Families Are Getting Crushed

Today, Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (CT-03) released a statement marking President Donald Trump’s first 100 days in office:

“President Trump has not been laser focused on the cost-of-living crisis. In fact, he is making it worse. He promised to fight for the working-class but instead he handed the government over to Elon Musk and billionaires.

“100 days later, working- and middle-class families are getting crushed. Essentials like eggs, rent, childcare, and health care are more expensive and the Trump Administration has pursued no plan to bring them down. In fact, his reckless tariffs are driving prices even higher.

“We need the government to fight for the middle-class, the working-class, and the vulnerable – not for Musk and billionaires.”
