DeLauro Praises Tenure of Connecticut Department Of Labor Commissioner Sharon Palmer
October 2, 2015
NEW HAVEN, CT—Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (CT-3) released the following statement today following the announcement that Connecticut Department of Labor Commissioner Sharon M. Palmer will be retiring from the agency at the end of this year:
“Sharon has been a hands-on leader who always put others first and never hesitated to get involved with difficult issues facing Connecticut families. She ran the department when our state was experiencing its worst unemployment since the Great Depression and made the necessary changes to ensure it was responsive to the needs of Connecticut residents. I wish her all the best in retirement.”
