DeLauro Statement on Appointment of Jorge Perez to Serve As Commissioner of the Department Of Banking

WASHINGTON, DC—Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (D-CT) released the following statement today on Governor Malloy’s nomination of Jorge Perez to serve as Commissioner of the Department of Banking.

“I am thrilled that Jorge Perez has been nominated to serve as Connecticut’s next Banking Commissioner. Jorge is an outstanding public servant as well as a respected member of the banking community. I have had the honor and privilege to work with Jorge for many years and know he will serve Connecticut well in this new role. Governor Malloy could not have selected a more qualified candidate to lead this agency.”
