DeLauro Statement on Grand Opening of Hamden Business Incubator

NEW HAVEN, CT — (December 2, 2019)Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (CT-03) today released the following statement for the grand opening of Borough 496, a new business incubator in Hamden.

"Borough 496 in Hamden is a great addition to Connecticut's Third District. This new incubator—spearheaded by Hamden Economic Development Director Dale Kroop—will help small businesses create new jobs, grow our local economy, bolster our workforce, and strengthen our communities.

I am proud to have made available $1.5 million in funding through the Department of Commerce's Economic Development Administration to help make this project a success, and I look forward to the great ideas and innovations that will come from Borough 496's members in the years ahead."
