DeLauro Statement on ICE Targeting of New Haven Families

Today, Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro released a statement on U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and their ongoing targeting of families in New Haven who are taking their children to school:

“The Trump Administration is cracking down on families who are part of our community. 

“They are not laser-focused on deporting violent criminals. They are targeting and removing people who have been here 10 years, 20 years, even longer, people who are standup members of their communities and who have done nothing wrong.

“I am angry with their disregard for children.”
