DeLauro Statement on Republicans’ Fifth Continuing Resolution

WASHINGTON, DC (February 6, 2018) – Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (CT-03) today released the following statement in response to the Republican majority's latest continuing resolution.

"The Republican majority in the House and Senate, as well as President Trump, have once again failed to govern. This is the fifth continuing resolution since last September, with seemingly no end in sight in the form of a full-year government funding bill. We are the greatest nation in the world, yet the incompetent majority has us caught in an endless loop—lurching from crisis to crisis without regard for the important issues facing our country. The American people deserve better."

DeLauro is the Ranking Member on the Appropriations subcommittee responsible for funding the Departments of Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education.
