DeLauro Welcomes New Staff Members
NEW HAVEN, CT—Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (CT-3) today announced two Connecticut residents have joined her staff. Michael Montini, a Woodbridge native, is serving as Staff Assistant in the Washington, DC office. Adon Duncanson has joined the New Haven office as a caseworker focusing in housing, financial services, environment and agriculture issues.
Montini, a 2011 graduate of Amity Regional High School, is a 2014 University of Connecticut graduate. He received a Bachelor of Arts in political science and served as a senator in the Undergraduate Student Government. Montini previously interned in DeLauro’s office twice, in the summer of 2013 and spring of 2014.
Duncanson is a May 2014 graduate of Gateway Community College and is working on his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Southern Connecticut State University. While at Gateway he founded a chapter of Men Against Rape and Sexual Assault who received a student government recognition award for his work with the Gateway community. Duncanson grew up in New Haven and graduated from West Woods Christian Academy in Hamden.
In announcing the news DeLauro said, “I am delighted to welcome Mike and Adon to my office. With their combined experiences, dedication and knowledge of Connecticut I know they will be valuable assets for the people of Connecticut’s Third District, and to me as I continue to work on behalf of the District’s communities.”
