Today, U.S. Representative Rosa DeLauro (CT-03) led 40 lawmakers in a letter to Homeland Security Secretary Alexander Mayorkas urging the Secretary to provide an enforcement plan to address illegal custom practices that undercut American competitiveness and violate international trade and labor laws. In the letter, the lawmakers urge Secretary Mayorkas to crack down on the de minimis trade loopholes allowing cheap fast-fashion products to flow into the U.S.

Today, Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (CT-03) released two fact sheets on the tax deal. The first fact sheet examines the differences between the American Rescue Plan and the Wyden-Smith Tax Deal. The second fact sheet outlines which corporations pay little to no federal income tax.

Today, U.S. Representatives Rosa DeLauro (D-CT-03), Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA-01) and Jahana Hayes (D-CT-05) introduced the bipartisan Expanding Access to Mental Health Services in Schools Act, legislation that would address the urgent need for mental health professionals in schools. In DeLauro’s first year as Chair of the Labor, Health and Human Services, Education and Related Agencies Subcommittee, she created the School Based Mental Health Service Grants program to increase the number of mental health professionals available at schools.
