Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (CT-03) today announced $2,729,770 in federal funding for the Town of Stratford, CT, at the Water Pollution Control Facility (WPCF) to reduce vulnerability to coastal floods. This funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will cover 36 percent of the project’s total cost of $7,556,800 and is critical to mitigating the risk and damage of floods at WPCF.

Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (CT-03) and Congressman Joe Kennedy III (MA-04) this week introduced H.R. 7743, the We Need Eviction Data Now Act of 2020, which would create a national database to standardize data and track evictions. This legislation would also establish a Federal Advisory Committee on Eviction Research to make recommendations related to eviction data collection and create policies to prevent the removal of families and individuals from their homes.
