Moving fromovernight to two or three day delivery standards will not only slow maildelivery, it will result in 508 closed processing facilities and an estimated30,000 jobs lost.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (CT-3)announced today that Connecticut's Teach for America, headquartered in NewHaven, has received a $168,800 AmeriCorps grant from the Corporation forNational and Community Service (CNCS).
The grant will support 211 AmeriCorps members who will serveas new, full-time teachers for two years in low-income schools. The schools arelocated in Bridgeport, Stamford, Hartford, New Haven and Windham.

Offers Amendments on Breastfeeding, FinancialOversight, China-Smithfield Sale
