DeLauro (CT-3) visited the Naugatuck Valley Community College today, touring the campus, meeting with students and faculty, and learning about the Welding Fundamentals Program, which prepares students for careers in fields such as manufacturing and construction.

DeLauro (CT-3) announced today that a $2.5 million Department of Transportation grant has been awarded to the Middletown Transit District (MTD) to improve the bus services for the city. These funds will enable the Middletown Transit District to purchase a building for use as a dispatch facility, maintain their fleet of vehicles and training for employees.
