House Appropriations Committee Chair Rosa DeLauro (CT-03) today announced $804,033 in Assistance to Firefighters Grants (AFG) for three fire departments in Connecticut’s 3rd Congressional District. Guilford Fire Department received $332,215 for Technical Rescue Training, East Haven Fire Department received $98,181 for Thermal Imaging Cameras, and West Haven Fire Department received $373,636 for Rapid Intervention Air Packs and Firefighter Breathing Apparatus. The award for West Haven Fire Department is a Regional Award also benefitting the Allingtown Fire District and West Shore Fire District.
