Renews Call for Administration to Release Agreement Text Immediately

WASHINGTON, DC—Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (D-CT) released the following statement today on the announcement Indonesia will join the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP):

WASHINGTON, DC—Over 120 members of the Democratic Caucus today called for any Fiscal Year (FY) 2016 budget agreement to fund both defense and non-defense discretionary (NDD) programs at adequate levels. The indiscriminate, deeply harmful sequestration budget cuts have gutted many NDD programs, compounding the reductions to their budget that have taken place over the past five years.

Hartford, CT –U.S. Sens. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) and Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) and U.S. Reps. John Larson (D-1), Joe Courtney (D-2), Rosa DeLauro (D-3), Jim Himes (D-4), and Elizabeth Esty (D-5) announced today that the U.S Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) released $72, 346,318 in LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program) funding for the State of Connecticut.

Despite the fact that negotiators announced an agreement on October 5, the contents are still a closely held secret.
