Helping Families Save Their Homes Act aimed at stemming foreclosures

Washington, DC – Congresswoman Rosa L. DeLauro (Conn. -3) joined with colleagues to pass the Helping Families Save Their Homes Act (H.R. 1106) to begin to put part of President Barack Obama's comprehensive Homeowner Affordability and Stability Plan into law.

DeLauro (CT – 3) announced that the Tweed-New Haven Airport Authority has been awarded a $4.8 million grant for the extension and rehabilitation of the airport's taxiway. These structural improvements will dramatically increase Tweed-New Haven Airport's efficiency, allowing more planes, in a shorter period of time, to land safely.

Funding Obligated to Expand Rte. 1 under the Amtrak Bridge
