Today, Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (CT-03) released a statement applauding Virginia for becoming the 15th state to enact a paid family and medical leave program:

“Americans are trapped in a cost-of-living crisis. When Democrats gain power, they respond. I applaud my friend and former colleague Governor of Virginia Abigail Spanberger, and the Democratic legislature for enacting a paid family and medical leave program that will give 3.2 million Virginians the tools to remain economically secure in the event of a life emergency.
