New Haven, CT — Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (CT-3) today applauded the recent decision by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to award a $2.9 million Public Assistance grant to the Town of Milford. The funds will be used to repair the stone revetment protecting the Trumbull Ave. public roadway, which was dislodged by the strong surge tides and wave energy accompanying Tropical Storm Irene. The federal share of assistance is 75% of the total cost of the Trumbull Ave. revetment.
