Next Important Step in Implementing the Food Safety Modernization Act
WASHINGTON, DC—Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (D-CT) released the following statement today applauding two long-overdue food safety rules released by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The rules, which deal with food safety for both human and animal food, were required by the Food Safety Modernization Act of 2010, which was signed into law nearly six years ago.

Will Receive Over $44,000 for Thermal Imaging Cameras, Rescue Tools
NEW HAVEN, CT—Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (CT-3) today applauded the announcement the Stratford Fire Department is receiving a $44,588 grant from the Department of Homeland Security. The grant, made through the Assistance for Firefighters Grant (AFG) program will be used to purchase thermal imaging cameras and rescue tools.
