Funds from FAA Will Help Keep Runways Clear, Ensure Safety throughout winter
WASHINGTON, DC—Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (CT-3) today applauded the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)’s announcement that the Tweed-New Haven Airport Authority has been awarded a $305,084 federal grant. The grant will be used to purchase equipment to keep runways and other areas of the airport free of snow and open for service throughout the winter.
