NEW HAVEN, CT—Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (CT-3) applauded the West Haven Housing Authority today for receiving a $111,942 federal grant to alleviate veteran homelessness. That money means 13 vouchers will be available to get veterans off the streets or out of shelters and into a permanent home. The grant announced today has been made possible by the Department of Housing and Urban Development-Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) Program.
